Glenn James – Energetic Wellness Practitioner

Glenn’s calling is to be of service and to share the luminous impact of Sacred Presence and the Light of Truth. He helps clients lead more authentic and fulfilling lives through optimizing their energetic awareness, inherited practices and cultural roles. This helps them manifest their unique gifts in alignment with radiant health and their greater calling.

As a youth Glenn earned a music scholarship to USDAN Center for the Creative and Performing Arts for saxophone and choir. His father, who was born in India to American relief agency parents, performed around the world with a church choir, singing and playing tenor guitar. His father and mother also traveled the world as volunteer workers, dedicating their time and vocational skills towards medical relief assistance and schoolhouse construction and rehabilitation.

Completing the requirements for a New York State Regents diploma early, at 17 years old he continued his education for 23 years as a dedicated Dharmin to Gurani Anjali, an Indian Guru from the first wave of Yoga Masters to come to the United States during the Spiritual Revolution of the mid 20th century who founded Yoga Anand Ashram in 1972.

While studying under Gurani Anjali (Gurani is a feminine form of Guru), who moved to Amityville, New York from Calcutta, India, Glenn was immersed in the study of Classical Patanjali Yoga, Samkhya, eastern and western philosophies, Sanskrit and courses of study from many notable visiting professors from surrounding universities.

Glenn took full advantage of the Ashram’s Moksha Bookshop and Community Education Center (MCEC) schedule that was packed with extraordinary courses, lectures and seminars. The blessing of this education combined with the profoundly altering effects of thousands of hours of Karma Yoga (selfless action) continues to be of extraordinary service to his clients.

Glenn has been recognized for his contributions with translating from Sanskrit to English “The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali“, publishing the books “Ways of Yoga” and “Rtu“, being a founding supporter of Santosha Vegetarian Dining which was the first vegetarian restaurant on Long Island, NY which served the community for 25 years, as well as digitizing and preserving a 25 year archive of the teachings of Gurani Anjali.

His eclectic education and employment background has served to provide an incredibly varied knowledge base that continues to be of service to clients of all ages and walks in life.

His studies in sound and music theory were cultivated early in life when he received a scholarship to study at Usdan Center for the Creative & Performing Arts, focusing on chorus and saxophone. He also later studied a variety of tonal modalities such as sitar, tabla, recorder, tenor guitar, ukulele, keyboard, bamboo flute and sounding of the conch.

Often working several positions concurrently, he co-owned and operated a small commercial offset print shop while also serving as head of Vajra Printing and Publishing of Yoga Anand Ashram. He maintained positions for many years as a commercial/residential electrician as well as a Senior Electrical Estimator. He served as Production Manager for the clean room facility that originally supplied the particle-free containers to collect the Lunar material samples. And he held many responsible positions from Production Supervisor for the bottling department of a well known natural vitamin manufacturer to Production Manager and then Operations Manager for a $20 million dollar Italian designer lighting company.

Glenn was called to attain certification in several energy healing modalities. Besides Sound Healing Certification, both Teresa and Glenn are Certified Biofield Tuning Practitioners, which is an amazing scientific and intuitive vibrational energy healing therapy created by Eileen McKusick; the author of “Tuning the Human Biofield” and “Electric Body – Electric Health.”

Teresa and Glenn also bring the magically extraordinary techniques as trailblazers of Dr Donny Epstein’s EpiEnergetics AlchemE Program to serve the client. Dr Donny Epstein is author of “The 12 Stages of Healing: A Network Approach to Wholeness.”
